Thunder Breathing

Thunder Breathing alternates between fast mark-generating forms and finishers that consume those marks. Its passive stamina recovery helps you keep moving, but repeated Thunderclap chains and the ultimate forms can still empty the bar quickly.

Passive: Thunder Marks

Successful hits from Thunderclap and Flash, Thunder Swarm, Distant Thunder, and Rumble and Flash add a Thunder Mark to the enemy. A new mark refreshes the timer for the full stack.

Rice Spirit, Heat Lightning, Honoikazuchi no Kami, and Thunder Sixfold consume the target's marks when their relevant hit connects. The consumed marks increase that attack's damage. Consuming the configured maximum also inflicts Paralysis.

Passive Property Default
Maximum Thunder Marks 5
Mark duration 10 seconds
Consumer damage per mark +20%
Damage at maximum marks ×2
Paralysis at maximum marks 3 seconds
Immunity after Paralysis 2 seconds
Base stamina regeneration +15%

Enemies cannot gain new Thunder Marks while Paralyzed. The post-Paralysis immunity prevents the same target from being locked again immediately.

Stamina Regeneration

The 15% bonus applies only to base stamina regeneration. At the default base rate of 1.2 stamina per second, Thunder restores 1.38 per second before the Concentration bonus is added. Concentration itself is not multiplied.

Technique Interactions

  • Rice Spirit resets its cooldown once per cast if one of its hits consumes the configured maximum number of marks.
  • Heat Lightning strikes every enemy in its 60-degree, 2.5-block cone after a 0.6-second wind-up. Non-maximum targets are launched upward and away. At the configured maximum it instead applies five seconds of Paralysis, lifts the target up to eight blocks under a continuous blue electric tether, and deals ten additional damage pulses. This is the only finisher that overrides the global three-second Paralysis duration.
  • Thunderclap can be repeated without charging during its chain window, but each successive use costs more stamina.

All passive values are configurable by the server.
