Nichirin Crafting¶
Every demon slayer needs a Nichirin blade. This page covers the path from raw ore to finished sword.
Mining the Materials¶
Nichirin Ore is found high in the mountains, near the peaks. Head for elevated terrain and mine at high altitudes. Veins are small but frequent once you're at the right height.
Scarlet Iron Sand spawns across a much wider altitude range in larger veins. You'll encounter it naturally while mining or exploring caves.
Refining¶
Craft the Nichirin Forge with three Gold Ingots across the top row, one Obsidian in the center, and three Obsidian across the bottom row.
- Smelt Nichirin Ore in any furnace to get an Imperfect Nichirin Ingot.
- Use a Nichirin Forge to combine the Imperfect Ingot with Scarlet Iron Sand and a Diamond, producing a Nichirin Ingot.
Crafting a Sword¶
Use Nichirin Ingots in the standard Minecraft sword recipe (2 ingots + 1 stick). Crafting always produces a Black Nichirin Sword. Flame, Water, and Thunder variants are obtained by defeating Rengoku, Giyu, and Zenitsu respectively.
All Nichirin swords can be repaired with Nichirin Ingots on an anvil.
