Nichirin Crafting

Every demon slayer needs a Nichirin blade. This page covers the path from raw ore to finished sword.

Mining the Materials

Nichirin Ore is found high in the mountains, near the peaks. Head for elevated terrain and mine at high altitudes. Veins are small but frequent once you're at the right height.

Scarlet Iron Sand spawns across a much wider altitude range in larger veins. You'll encounter it naturally while mining or exploring caves.

Refining

  1. Smelt Nichirin Ore in any furnace to get an Imperfect Nichirin Ingot.
  2. Use a Nichirin Forge to combine the Imperfect Ingot with Scarlet Iron Sand and a Diamond, producing a Nichirin Ingot.

Crafting a Sword

Use Nichirin Ingots in the standard Minecraft sword recipe (2 ingots + 1 stick). The sword you get depends on your breathing style, or defaults to Black if you haven't chosen one yet.

Your starter Black Nichirin Sword gets the job done. Once you learn a breathing style, you'll be able to craft significantly stronger variants.

All Nichirin swords can be repaired with Nichirin Ingots on an anvil.
