Kimetsu Spawner¶
The Kimetsu spawner is a reusable block for configured encounters. It can spawn the mod's Slayer NPCs and demon variants, including Zenitsu and Thunder Slayers. It is separate from natural demon spawning.
Selecting an Entity¶
Find the block in the creative inventory. Right-click it without a spawn egg to open its editor; this requires operator permission level 2. Choose an entity and save the settings. An unconfigured spawner does not spawn anything.
You can also use a supported spawn egg on the block to set its entity. Slayer eggs preserve the named NPC profile, and demon eggs select their variant. Using an egg consumes one egg.
For the available eggs, see Hashira and Slayers.
Settings¶
Each block stores its own settings:
| Setting | Default | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum delay | 200 ticks / 10 seconds | Lower end of the spawn delay. |
| Maximum delay | 800 ticks / 40 seconds | Upper end of the spawn delay. |
| Spawn count | 4 | Spawn attempts per cycle; successful spawns still depend on space and limits. |
| Maximum nearby entities | 6 | Nearby population limit. |
| Tracking range | 32 blocks | Radius used to count nearby matching entities. |
| Required player range | 16 blocks | A player must be close enough for the spawner to run. |
| Spawn range | 4 blocks | Area around the block in which spawn positions are attempted. |
| Respect spawn rules | Off | When enabled, checks the selected entity's normal spawn rules. |
| Persistent mobs | On | Marks spawned mobs as persistent so ordinary distance despawning does not remove them. |
Reusing a Setup¶
Picking or breaking the block produces a configured copy that preserves its settings. Place it elsewhere to reuse the encounter setup.
Disabling natural demon spawning does not disable Kimetsu spawners, spawn eggs, or commands. Adjust those encounters independently of the natural-spawn settings.
