Stamina¶
Stamina is the resource that gates your technique usage. Every breathing technique and combat art costs stamina. If you don't have enough, the technique won't fire. No partial casts, no overdraft — you either have the stamina or you don't.
Base Values¶
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Base max stamina | 100 |
| Base regen rate | 1.2 per second |
| Regen application | Continuous (every server tick) |
Scaling with Concentration¶
The Concentration stat directly increases both your max stamina and your regen rate. The gain per point follows a curve, with larger stamina increases at early points and smaller increases near the cap. See Stats for the full breakdown.
There is no regen delay after using a technique or taking damage — stamina starts refilling immediately.
Thunder Breathing Bonus¶
Thunder Breathing boosts base regeneration before Concentration is added. With the default settings, that gives 1.44 stamina per second at zero Concentration and 2.92 at 12 points. Concentration's contribution is not multiplied by the passive.
Reading Your Stamina¶
In combat mode, the default Integrated HUD shows a stamina bar in place of the vanilla XP bar and its level number, colored for your breathing style. Choose a percentage or raw value in Breath Menu → Combat → Options.
With Classic HUD, the bar sits vertically beside the skill slots. The Nichirin display is a separate vertical katana option. For the complete settings, see Combat Preferences.
